Progressive strength training and run programming built as one plan.
Remote coaching from Lyle Mitchell, a strength coach and running coach with a rehab background.
A 10-minute form, then we'll set up a call.
Most run plans treat strength as a bodyweight or band circuit you fit in when you can.
That doesn't load tissue enough to keep driving adaptation.
I program progressively loaded compound lifts alongside your running, periodized to your race season, so the two build on each other instead of competing for recovery. The goal is a reserve of strength you can keep
drawing from, season after season.

Road, trail, and ultra runners, including runners in their 40s, 50s, and beyond who know strength is part of running well for a long time.
-
No. I'll teach the movements and progress them at your pace.
-
Enough to load things properly: a gym, or a few kettlebells at home. We'll sort out specifics on our call.
-
No. Coaching is fully remote. You’re always welcome to book an in-person training session if you’re visiting Asheville though.
-
I'll walk you through a simple filming setup. I review the footage, send notes, and build anything relevant into your program.
-
Coaching continues month to month. Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. Notice given during the first three months takes effect after month three.

No. My rehab background shapes how I coach, but this isn't physical therapy. If you need treatment, I'll recommend that to you on our call.
